Safer Spaces & Respectful Community Guidelines
Our sauna and arts venue is a place for relaxation, creativity, and connection. We ask everyone to help create an atmosphere where all visitors feel welcome, respected, and able to enjoy themselves.
We ask that you:
Celebrate diversity and respect each other’s identities – no racism, cis-sexism, transmisogyny, transphobia, ableism, fatphobia, or body commentary.
Practice consent in all interactions – no harassment of any kind is permitted, this includes, but is not limited to, touching without consent, excessive or inappropriate staring, verbal abuse, and explicit gesturing.
Be mindful in your gaze and language – maintain kind and respectful communication, and avoid intrusive staring or unwanted comments about someone’s body or appearance.
Share the space considerately – give others room to relax, speak in low voices in quiet areas, and respect the flow of movement.
Ask before photographing – no photos in sauna spaces if anyone else is present without their consent. Be mindful of who may appear in the background.
Keep our space substance-free – no alcohol or drugs before and during sauna/ice bath use.
Support accessibility and comfort – be attentive to others’ needs, offer assistance if appropriate, and help keep the space physically and emotionally safe for everyone.
We are all responsible for the atmosphere we create together. If someone’s words or actions are making you or others uncomfortable, please speak to a member of our team. We will listen, take it seriously, and act as needed to maintain the safety of all within the space.
Those who do not uphold these guidelines may be asked to leave to protect the comfort and safety of others.
No, we do not supply towels. Please bring your own. You will need two towels, one smaller to sit on in the saunas, and one to dry yourself at the end of the session.
Unfortunately, we’re not able to pass on your details to another guest. We absolutely love a connection story, but we also take privacy seriously and want to make sure everyone feels completely safe and uncontactable unless they choose otherwise.
In future, we’d always recommend swapping details directly during the session if you feel a connection with someone.
