About Sauna Social Club

Sauna Social Club in Peckham is London’s first dedicated sauna and ambient listening space. We blend saunas and ice baths with ambient music, creating the perfect place to relax and recharge.

Our mission is to redefine social spaces, bringing people together through a blend of wellness, arts, and community. Drawing from Benji’s background as an actor and personal trainer, and Nikki’s experience as a community organiser and DJ, we’ve witnessed the transformative impact of community and the arts on well-being.

So we set out to create an alternative to traditional social spaces like pubs—one that prioritises wellness, creativity, and meaningful connection.

Our Values

  • Inclusivity: We welcome everyone, ensuring our spaces are accessible, friendly, and supportive for people of all abilities, backgrounds, and needs, including neurodivergent individuals and those managing mental health challenges.

  • Creativity: We inspire creativity through thoughtful design and opportunities for artists to perform and express themselves in a welcoming environment.

  • Connection: We create spaces for people to make genuine, meaningful connections, reducing isolation and fostering a sense of belonging.

  • Affordability: We make wellness and creativity accessible through affordable pricing and community-focused initiatives.

  • Quality: We deliver exceptional service and experiences with the highest standards of care and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service: We're looking for someone who can provide outstanding customer service, acting as a knowledgeable host for sauna and ice bath bookings, and handling booking inquiries with care and professionalism.

  • Operations Management: You will oversee daily operations, including the bar, staff management, and equipment maintenance, ensuring the venue runs smoothly and efficiently.

  • Team Leadership: You will have overall responsibility for managing and scheduling staff, recruiting new team members, and creating a nurturing, inclusive working environment that supports development.

  • Feedback and Improvement: Listening to and acting on feedback is important to us. You will work with us to gather customer and staff feedback, suggest improvements, and implement changes to enhance customer experience.

  • Revenue and Merchandising: You will manage stock, oversee relationships with stockists, and develop new revenue streams for the bar and gift shop.

  • Marketing Support: You will contribute to social media content and messaging to promote the business.

  • Community Engagement: You'll work with the leadership team to arrange collaborations and facilitate subsidised access for community groups.

  • Expansion Support: You will assist the leadership team in planning and executing future expansion, including extending opening hours and launching new venues.
