How do I book?

Simply go to the home page or header of our website and select 'book here'.

From there, you will be able to see our whole schedule. To find out more information about each session, select 'book'.

You will need to buy a Single Session Pass or Subscription Membership to book a session.

You can also download our app for the easiest booking experience.

Question 2

How do I book for multiple people?

Yes, you can book for up to 6 people. However, for safety reasons we need everyone's details that will be attending the session, so it's important you book each person on individually. You can only book one slot at a time. Begin by booking yourself onto the session and paying for your slot, and then you can go onto the same session again and select 'book for someone else'. The process is as follows:1. once on our booking system, find the session that you would like to attend and select 'book'2. select 'book session .. credits'3. where this screen appears, select 'view pricing options'. follow through the process to book yourself onto the session. 4. now repeat the process from step 1, but when you reach step 3, select 'book for someone else'. it will then ask you to 'add a related contact' or select them if you've booked for them before. you'll need their name and email address to do this. Question 3

How does the waitlist work?

You can join the waitlist for a session through our usual booking process. There are two waitlist spots for each session.

To join the waitlist you must already have a credit in your account. If you are a member, this will be taken off your remaining credits. If you are not a member, you will need to buy a credit for the session to join the waitlist.

If a slot becomes available, you will receive another email to let you know. You will then have the option to accept the newly available slot. The email will be sent to both people on the waitlist, and the slot will go to the first to accept it. If you download our app, you will receive a push notification when a slot becomes available, which is the best way to stay up to date.

If a slot does not become available, your credit will be returned to your account at the end time of the session, for you to use to book another session of the same type.

Question 4

Can I make a group booking?

For bookings of up to 6 people, please follow the instructions on booking for multiple people (book for yourself first, then go back in and book for each friend individually). From September onwards, we are offering large-group bookings in our sister venue Arch 842, with exclusive use of the space for groups between 8 and 30. Please email arch842@saunasocialclub.co.uk to find out more. In the main venue, we prioritise being a space where people feel able to come alone or with a friend and strike up conversations with people they've not met before. We've found that having a large group in the sauna can make conversations feel quite exclusive, and discourage any connections with those outside of the group. For that reason, if you're coming to the space as a group, please be mindful of how your conversations may affect others. Our main sauna is silent (no-talking), equipped with a sound system for deep listening and reflection, while our smaller saunas and yard offer a more social setting, perfect for chatting and meeting new friends. If you are meeting a larger group of friends, it might be a good idea to plan in time before/after the session to catch up in the lounge. The best way to book as a group would be for you all to book on either individually, or one person can book for up to 6. Bookings open 30 days in advance of a session. How do I buy a gift voucher?

Gift vouchers are available through our booking system, just head to the booking page of our website.

From the main booking site, in the menu on the dropdown (mobile) or in the top left corner (desktop) select 'pricing', and then select 'gift voucher'. The vouchers are cash value and can be used to buy any type of one-off credit and any products at the venue. They cannot be used to purchase a subscription membership.

Please note: Gift cards are linked to the email address they are sent to, and the code is not redeemable by an account under a different email address. Sometimes the gift voucher arrives in spam inboxes so please ask the recipient to check here if they can't find it.

Physical Gift Cards are available from the bar.

Question 6

How do I book for a friend with an existing credit?

If you've already got a credit on your account, for example, if you've had a refund after being on the waitlist, you'll need to share that credit with your related contact before you can book them on.

Go to your profile on saunasocialclub.co.uk/book by clicking on your name either in the top right hand corner (on desktop), or in the drop-down (on mobile). If you have the Sauna Social Club app, click profile in the bottom right corner.

Select Memberships and credit. Click on 'select sharing members' on the credit, and either tick or add the related contact.

Then go to the session that you'd like to book them on to, select 'book', click 'book for someone else' and then select the contact.

How do I cancel my booking? What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellation Policy
You can cancel your booking online up to 6 hours before the beginning of the session. Go to your profile on the app or our website by clicking on your name either in the bottom right corner (on app) or in the drop-down menu (on mobile). Click on upcoming bookings and you can cancel from there. 
 
The credit will be returned to your account, which you can then redeem on another booking of the same type of session. We're not able to offer cash refunds, unless there are exceptional circumstances, as our payment processor charges for these.
 
We do not offer credit refunds for late cancellations (within 6 hours). However, if you would like to transfer your ticket to a friend, please email bookings@saunasocialclub.co.uk with their name and email address and we will transfer the ticket free of charge.

Question 9

What is an unwaged ticket?

Unwaged tickets are available for our off-peak Essential Sauna sessions. These tickets are for anyone who does not earn a wage e.g Students, Retired, on Universal Credit. They're also for anyone who cannot afford the full-price ticket. There is an option to buy an unwaged ticket for all Open Essential Sauna sessions. The unwaged tickets are not valid for standard Essential Sauna as these are our peak time sessions.

Question 10

Why is a Social/Ambient/Aufguss session 2 credits?

Some sessions are 2 credits each, others are 1 credit each. If you're booking a 2-credit session for yourself and someone else, you'll need to buy 2x Single Session Passes for that specific session type. E.g. 2x Social Sauna = 4 credits for £49.98. The credits are set up this way because our Subscription Memberships cover the shorter Essential Sauna (1 credit each) and the longer peak-time sessions (2 & 3 credits).

Question 11

Are children or teenagers allowed to visit?

Unfortunately, due to our insurance and licensing, we're an 18+ venue and do not permit anyone under 18 on the premises.

Question 12

Are dogs / pets allowed in the space?

We do not permit dogs in the lounge, sauna, or yard space. 
Guide dogs for the visually impaired are welcome in the lounge area but not into the sauna or yard area.
